  • middleburn double chainset help please with my cx/gnarmac bike.

    Can i use a set of rs8’s for my cx/gnarmac bike and if so what is the largest set of rings i can use. Its currently on 38/24 but i would like to go more towards 44 or 46 outer with a 34 or 36 inner, can i do that running full ultegra? And would i need a bottom bracket too? Thanks and hope this makes sense.

    I use the rs7s with the Middleburn Incy compact road spider – currently 40 / 26 (hilly here in S. Wales).

    Cheers Nipper, I’m currently on a Arkose. Do you think I need to get a mtb specific like Hope or a Shimano XT so it doewn’t affect the chain line at all?
