[thousandsplifstare]As a veteran of 6 tours of Glastonbury in the 90s I can confirm that whoever is on stage isn’t the reason why people go. They go for the experience of it, man. Hence the reason why it sells out in a nano-second before the line-up has been announced. [/thousandsplifstare]
If I was there I would go and watch Metallica out of curiosity and if they were bobbins I’d saunter off early and find something else to watch, probably at the Jazz Stage.
I’ll watch them on TV just to see how they do. Hopefully, with such a massive crowd and TV audience they won’t conspire to make chumps of themselves.
What night are they on? If it is Sunday they are contractually obliged to be shit anyway and most of the audience will have lost the will to live.
