Off to USA for 3 weeks. The flights and luggage are all covered on the credit card insurance. Does anyone have any recommendations for medical insurance in USA. (Do I actually need it?).

    Cheers.

    You are joking, right?

A consultation with a Doctor will probably end up costing more than your holiday. As they’ll have to send you for blood tests etc etc.

I was assuming that I do need it but there might have been some sort of EU agreement in place that I wasnt aware of.

A visit to the hospital in Canada for a simple eye infection cost me 700 dollars. Yes you need travel insurance and no there isn’t an EU agreement in place.

To be honest I don’t travel anywhere outside the UK without travel insurance. The medical costs might be covered in the EU with the E111 (or whatever it is called these days) but repatriation costs certainly aren’t.
