    The year is 2013…
Nelson Mandela has died, in Boston the marathon is about to end in tragedy and Prince George is born. Brexit is a far away nightmare and in Swaledale, I have an unborn baby and a small packet of seed arrives from Scotland…
Fast forward 6 years and I am a single dad to a 6 year old daughter, and in the corner of a garden are these whoppers….

6 years ago myself @rowangully and @runningman.jeremy tinkered with sowing some Cardiocrinum Giganteum seed at work which @mcmoonter had sent me. Finally it has paid off!

We will harvest the seeds from this year’s crop and post them out if anyone is patient and fancies trying to grow some from seed, it’s well worth the wait

Impressive! Would love to see if we could get one growing in Brum. Foxgloves are currently great but that looks like another level.
