We’re still very busy with the cluband the Croft Trail.

Croft Trail

We’ve got a new kilometre of trail that will be opened at the start of April. This adds two bridges, a rock garden, a load of berms, rollers plus about 50m of raised woodwork. We’ve also surfaced the whole of the existing loop. There is maintenance planned for the latter part of the year to deal with any of the old sections that are suffering a bit.

We’ve got a trail open day on 1st April 2011.

Club and Events

Club wise, we’ve got a lot of events this year. Every month there will be a local ride, an away ride, a novice friendly ride, a women’s (ladies) ride plus the weekly night rides at the Croft Trail. On top of that we’re going to most of the big race events (2412, SITS, Mountain Mayhem, Bikefest etc) plus Morzinein the Summer.

Training
We’ll be running the training courses again in 2012.

Charity Event
We’re busy planning a mountain bike event that starts on the edge of Swindon and takes in the Marlborough Downs as well as our very own Croft Trail.

Sunday April 22nd 2012. 15 and 25 (plus bonus) mile routes.

We’ve got a bike shop involved and they’ve confirmed that Cube will be there plus they’re working on some more trade stands.
