As above really, wondering if anyone has ridden the new XA pro carbons from mavic. Looking at a set in 29″.
Can’t find many reviews longer than the initial launch weekend, so wondering if anyone has had any longer term.

Was looking at the new Bontrager line pro 30 carbon wheels, but they don’t seem to be available for a while/generally sold out on pre order. So these seem a reasonable alternative.

I have them in 27.5 Boost format. Been riding regularly for 3 months.

Haven’t got a bad word to say so far. Light and spin up easily. Stiff where you want them to be and forgiving where you want them to be (possibly since they have now moved to bladed steel spokes). A doddle to set up tubeless (using them with the supplied Quest tyres). External nipples should make for easy truing but so far no need to. They look nice and subtle. The hubs are easy to adjust and the free hub is a proven design now. They are also ‘relatively’ good value for carbon wheels.

They aren’t the absolute widest out there but running 2.4 tyres has proven absolutely fine.

So overall a hearty thumbs up here.
