Does anyone know whether it’s possible to adjust the bearings on a Crossride rear hub with the 12mm axle? A mate has one which has a little play in it. I’ve got Crossmax STs on my bike which can be adjusted with a pin spanner but the Crossrides look different and at a quick look last night we couldn’t see an obvious way to remove the play.
Any insight?

Is it one of the latest models? They’re held together with a circlip on the brake side of the axle, remove it and the axle may be so loose in the bearings that it falls out under it’s own weight, hence the play. Mavic sent us slightly thicker shim washers to fit behind the circlip, unsurprisingly, trying to remove up/down play by tightening side to side isn’t very effective.

Cheers, yeah, it’s one of the latest ones. Sounds like a warranty issue if anything then.
