Evenin all. I need to renew my boys mattresses, normal sized singles but I’d like them as thin as possible without making them uncomfortable. Any ideas where on line does decent stuff please? I know it’s important but I just cannot be bothered to traipse around a load of shops 🙂

I buy mine from John Lewis, in the main cos its a one stop shop which sells stuff that works.
Bought one recently and it’s most excellent.

I used http://www.mattressonline.co.uk/ and they were most underwhelmingly what I expected…
I ordered a matress. It came the next day. My son sleeps on it. There was very little drama. They were reasonably priced, for a lovely mattress..

It’s not like buying bike parts 🙁

John Lewis again, but avoid cheapest mattress. We bought one and sent it back for next one up.

Wife’s chiropractor recommended (bizarrely we thought at the time) IKEA.

    Turns out he was right.

He also asserted that most people buy mattresses that are too hard for them. Turns out he was right about that too.

You spend a third of your life in bed. Traipse around shops.

Definitely spend as much as you can spare, personally prefer the traditional type over the foam ones.
