    S = ((pi q)/4) B ((1-v^2)/E)

    I Need to isolate ‘E’ – any help / checks would be appreciated!

    go to http://www.wolframalpha.com

    type ‘solve S = ((pi q)/4) B ((1-v^2)/E) for E’ into the search box

    press enter and be amazed

    If this is for your studies it’s not going to help of course 🙂

    ((pi*q*b)/4) * ((b-bv^2)/E) =((pi*q*b)*(b-bv^2))/4E = S

    E=((pi*q*b)*(b-bv^2))/4S

    A constant, 0.6 to be precise!
