My oldest just inherited a Specialized hardrock with Manitou blacks elites on
shock movement is a bit firm …she’s only 12, ive changed to lighter weight oil to little effect
i removed the bolt on the bottom of the left leg containing the spring little bit of oil
dribbled out of there but i now cant get the bolt to screw back in is there a knack to it ?
help she’s given me the evils for tinkering with her bike!!!!

Had some manitou blacks a few years back I think you may have to take the spring out compress the forks to move the internal parts to the bottom of the leg hope this makes sense

thought that might be the case i’ll give it a bash
