I’m looking for some tri bars that are really low, where the extension comes out of the front of the clamp. Basically like these https://www.wiggle.co.uk/profile-design-subsonic-race-aerobar but cheaper/used.

I tried to post a wanted ad, but it just didn’t work, sorry Mods.

    Is this for your Cube?

I was looking at http://yojimg.net/bike/web_tools/stem.php in relation to my 58cm aero brick Attain (388mm reach, 610mm stack!) and discovered switching the 110mm -6 degree stem for a -17 degree would lower the bars 21mm, waiting on https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/deda-elementi-adj-adjustable-stem/rp-prod158477 to have a play and see what my weakened lower back can take when it’s not angry.

Yes. Doing a tri on it soon. I could slam the stem to accomodate the tri bars I have, but it makes it a bit difficult to ride when you need the normal bars. The bike section includes a bit of flat, a really big climb and a really big mountain descent…

Think Ritchey, Cinelli and Deda all have either full size or 3/4 size bars that clamp the extension under the main bar, saves a lot of height.
I’ve got a couple of sets of the Deda bars, but not really available to loan!

Or a mate modified some profiles to do the same, flipped the clamps upside down, chopped some bits and screwed the pads to the upside down clamps (or may have even attached them direct to the bars, i didn’t look that carefully!)

I have a set you can have for much cheapness – the extensions come out from under the handlebar. PM me or facebook

Always thought full size Tri bars on a bike set up for a good road position were very compromised. Made you too stretched.

Something like the vision tech mini (if still made) got you low to your bars and in the right sort of position.
