Riding along the SDW nr where I live … towards the end of a 23 km ride, my rear brake stops applying any pressure to the disc.
On inspection, fuild level is down and it needs bleeding(obviously). Which I do ….
That seems to have solved the issue … but there are no signs of a leak. Have I done what is needed and it was just one of those things, or do I need to check something else?

    Hope E4s BTW

guessing you just had air in the system before. Providing your latest bleed is good, i’d say nothing more to do. Have you checked for a leak at the lever end. And does the brake resivour do up tightly.

After a lot of faffing about and backwards bleeding, it would appear that the lever reservoir diaphragm is distorted … so allowing it to leak when the lever is under pressure …
