just to answer your questions…. yes, its the first big bill. but at 9yrs old, im starting to notice the little things going wrong and its just a gut feeling that once this bills out the way, more will follow.
it would have been the easiest option to get the work done, youre right, but £5k for it????? a 53 octavia??? it didnt cost me that 5 years ago!! 🙂 i think a fairer private sale price would have been around £2000. seen them up for that on autotrader.

and on the mazda front, i know its all subjective, but ive got mates with bad experiences of dodgy electrics, expensive to fix etc. that wouldnt have stopped me buying one, it just wasnt very nice to drive. th octavias lovely in comparison.
