Anybody ever used any ? What was it ?

I know it is a long shot so forgive me (and the dreadful pun) it is friday.

I have tried google and not getting very far, seems a specialist area.

At the moment I am toying with a Viz plan of reconstructing the whole scene and getting people in the background to wear pantihose on their head.

I’ve done this before using overlays to mask out bit of the video and get rid of numberplates. Clearly rather more difficult if you’re trying to remove people who are moving around rather than a block of the video.

I was going to suggest this was in Windows Movie Maker but I’m not sure if it was – if I want to do more advanced stuff I use AviSynth and VirtualDub, which certainly could do moving overlays.

I have done this with Premier you can get it to track faces and blur them out. Can’t remember how I did it though…

Keyhole productions in Liverpool will do it for cash.

Cash not a problem. Downloading open-source off t’internet will set of the perimeter alarms, in fact I think just researching might get me a wee visit.
