Here’s mine, really enjoying it so far!

Orange p7 is 650 so wouldn’t work . Any 29 er with boost wheels will be able to be swapped to run 650 plus and any 650 plus can normally run with 29 wheels .

Ramsey Neil – New Orange P7 is available as 29 too.

Orbea Loki is a 27+ but can take 29.

Both true up to a point, but it’s not always the case. For instance the sonder transmitter can’t take 29er wheels with a decent tyre on, and many 29ers won’t take a + tyre larger than 2.8, if that matters.

Rickos – the Orange website makes no mention of the P7 being available as a 29er .

How about an alu-tech cheap trick. Just been launched new model. Reach not quite as aggressive as moxie. Takes 29 and plus wheels. Looks nice. Good quality German company.

I’d recommend what I’ve got too. Ghost Roket AL8, comes in 27.5+ but fits 29ers. Pretty long, pretty slack, fairly low, well specified for the cash.

For a 6″ travel, steel, 29er? I don’t think you’ll find many (any?) on that list below 3kg!

    Dartmoor Primal +
Ran it for a year with 650×3.0 tyres, admitedly not tried it with 29er wheel yet, but loads of clearance.

Cotic quote 2.54kg for the Bfe and Similar for the Nordest. All similar money so over 600g heavier seems a lot more and shows a cheaper, heavier steel tubing must be being used.

Im still going to bang on about my Norco Torrent7.2   , long with a 660 top tube , 340bb at 650b+ and slack ish at 66o head angle. Running 3.0 or 2.8s atm ,boost all round. I send more time on this than another bike. Its a flyer that often buzzes mates back wheels on the trails

Looks like Dartmoor have discontinued the Primal Plus for 2018, which is a shame. The are some 2017 frames still for sale though.

Love the look of the Hornet but all their models are now limited to 2.8″ tyres.

Love my Primal Plus but am very tempted by that Nordest.

I wish I hadn’t seen that Nordest Bardino Ti! I’m not going to rest til I have one now!
