All this LLS stuff on frames has got me curious. I had a go on a friends recent Whyte hardtail and was suitably impressed- coming from my slightly old school, 71 degree head angle XC race bike to that, I was surprised how good it felt both up and down stuff. Looks like there’s something in all this after all.
However, £££- so I’m wondering, and looking for ideas/suggestions- are there any frames out there that would let me do a cheapish transplant of parts without the need for new wheels, cranks and fork? So that would mean:
-142mm rear end (QR or bolt through)
-100mm fork
-nonboost crankset
Unfussed on frame materials, its all good.
thx in advance-
