Bearing in mind we’ve gone backwards weather wise over the past couple of weeks, I’m looking for a really light gilet. Something like a Montane Featherlight Gilet. Something just to tuck away in case the monsoon arrives whilst out and about.

Anybody got any recomendations for really light/packable gilets please?

I have one of these, fits in a back pocket with room to spare…

Only large left, sizing is typical roadie – so large = medium.

I’ve got the Gore vest, it’s freakishly light and probably one of the best and most used bits of kit I own.

How about a Lusso, they’re made in the UK as well.

Got a Nukeproof one that is wafer-thin and light.
It’s fairly wind-proof, but not sure it’s waterproof or would be much help in a monsoon….

Montane Ultralight Gillet is the most used bit of clothing I own.

I really like my Mavic one, super light and lots of nice design features like zips which don’t get stuck etc 🙂

That Gore one is still half the price of the Assos offering.

I have the Montane one. It’s really rather good.
