Pulled my totem coils apart today for a semi-bath service and noticed these score marks on the rod that comes out of the coil spring leg. Got the forks in Feb, been apart a couple of times since and not noticed this before. The fork feels OK to ride but lacks small bump sensetivity (has done since new).

It looks as if it is catching on the metal disc in the end of the stanchion. Is this anything to worry about or OK as it’s not going through a seal/bush? Only problem I can think of is metal shavings in the semi bath oil may not do the stanchion coating or bushes any good.
