Looking on Lb website and the AM728 builds with Dt240s hubs seem semi reasonable. Seem to remember a post suggesting they might not be,but can’t find it. Anyone bought full builds from them with Dt hubs?

My set built by lb on hope hubs, they look genuine to me, they’ve been stripped and dismantled by me (non expert) and look high quality with the right blue grease.. and my lbs who’s a wheel specialist and his only comments were ‘nice wheelset’.

Another encouraging thing is lb won’t do fake rim graphics, you can either have them naked, or with lb graphics.

Can’t see why it would be any different if you had them built on DT hubs.

I’ve had LB rims wheels with DT Swiss 240 hubs and according to the wheelbuilder who uses the same hubs they are real. mine have been faultless. he sais they were well built wheels with even tension all round. Go for it and buy a pair.

For those that have bought LB wheels what was the final cost to you?

I can see the USD price and they’re offering a $135 all-in clear customs rate, but presumably there’s VAT on top (of the lot) – and anything else?

been a while and they didn’t have any “all in” price but it was

    wheel list price
    +shipping
    +paypal fees
    +VAT on invoiced value
    +import tax
    +courier handling fee

with the pluses adding a significant percentage to the final bill. Without the paperwork I’d guestimate it was something like £300rrp wheels cost £420 all in.
