Mine came from a mate who bought some without realising they were the tan walls so I gave him what a set of black ones would cost when they were back in stock, just wanted some ardents and was curious to see how they’d look.

They’re not the tubeless ones, and I’ve just got 719 rims so technically no but I’m sure that they could be bodged, however I am definitely not an expert in tubelessness.

Ye ridden it a few times, 32×19 and it’s fine for getting up all sorts in the lakes with a bit of effort, really have to attack some of the climbs and then ease off to recover when you can instead of just tapping away on a 3×10, loads of fun. Not touched my full Sus since I got it!

A year later its different again and will change again as soon as the 29+ front arrives

Here’s mine, running 2×10 and 100mm Rebas. Has dropper post and different saddle now though. Best bike I’ve ever owned.

    Some lovely looking bikes there.
is it possible to a buy a unit frame on its own?

Love seeing these. Really close to pulling the trigger on this. I am wondering about the strength/durability of the stock wheels. I am a big clyde @ 6’3″ 280 and I ride heavy.

Does this years still have the WTB i23’s? I can’t fault them, I’m not particularly heavy but I clatter them through some pointy rocks around the Lakedistrict. I have upgraded the hubs to hope though, front to accommodate thru-axles and rear to have something more serviceable.

My old one at SSWC 2007. Old Skool 26er.

    Famous that one Rickos 😉

Would love one of these but they never come up in my price bracket

    had a Big Unit

the coke can thin downtube failed at a butt

Kona wouldn’t even inspect the frame

    warranty not honoured

wouldn’t touch the brand ever again

I had an orange 08 one, looked lovely, rode like a tank.

The SH Rigg I replaced it with was a ton lighter and better to ride.
