Not got an alps trip sorted yet… but just finished building this bike up for such things. Just now it's being used as my play bike for local trails (local trails being Innerleithen 🙂

I'm off next friday. Well excited as i've never been to the alps before.

Have bought some chunky high rollers/minions for my enduro and getting the shock serviced. Also bought some superstar flats and five tens 🙂

Pitches seem to be back at £1100 in a few places too, did everyone buy them and realise they were just too heavy?

Should I sell my 456 and get one, seems very similar?

Do people have specific 'Alpine' bikes then?

Might take a late October trip to the south of France and give mine it's first proper use…

Might turn the fork up to 140mm for the descents though.

Cant post pics of it as work wont let me, but a Cube Fritzz is spot on – check my previous posts for pics of it. I'll be hitting the Alps twice this summer…

IIRC Pitch's are warranted for 160mm or less.

    No alpine specific for me!

    See pic above.

The 5Spot does everything from Welsh and Scottish Trail Centres, Surrey Hills and will be going to the Alps in just over a week! Special adaptations – Duct Tape to protect the paintwork a bit, bigger tyres & I will wind the fork out a bit!

You don't need a big bike to have fun! 😕
