Not got an alps trip sorted yet… but just finished building this bike up for such things. Just now it's being used as my play bike for local trails (local trails being Innerleithen 🙂

Do people have specific 'Alpine' bikes then?

Might take a late October trip to the south of France and give mine it's first proper use…

Might turn the fork up to 140mm for the descents though.

IIRC Pitch's are warranted for 160mm or less.

Having 'enjoyed' them braking bumps before can't wait to use it there

This is my "big mountain" bike. Leaving for t'alps tomorrow so it's now sporting Kenda Nevegal DH tyres, 203mm rotors and Pro Vanderham low rise bars.
