There are several alternatives to Lepin.

I’ve got a Lepin set of an out of production Lego set which now sells for £1000 second hand. I bought the Lepin set for less than 10% of that.

I’d say it’s about 90% as good as Lego, but the connecty pieces aren’t as good as Lego.

Apparently Lego claim the fakes could be dangerous. I’m assuming they have never stood on one of their own bricks in bare feet.

supply and demand innit – your knock off one will be worth a mint now that its a rarity 🙂 Until someone start churning out fakes of it.

I think grown mean  with a display shelf for toys is a fairly effective prophylactic anyway 😉

I doubt it, they’ll be reasonably connected so should build a reasonable defence, and, as they say, all publicity is good publicity though I doubt its the advertising model they were planning on.
