Ling, not worth replyingStill pooping I see.
Stop replying, then.
firestarterFree MemberAh I do like a bear addition to a post 🙂
Can’t believe someone called cranberry is commenting on a ling er post, how apt
mattyfezFull MemberIrrelevant Ling.
If the finance company is satisfied to complete a deal with person x, that’s on them.Chasing him on this forum and attempting to publicly shame him and threatening threatening groundless legal action in an attempt to recoup fabricated losses just shows you up for the vile extortionist that you are.
If you had any sort of legal basis for your position, you should have just gone down the legal route in a professional manner.

Errrr…. it was him who started this thread, not me.
I’m duty bound to provide truthful info, it’s not a matter of lying to a finance company until they are “satisfied” and then saying “DONE!”
PoopscoopFull MemberBlah, blah blah…

I’m guessing they don’t ask who is going to be insuring the car, or what relationship the person buying finance has to them. Because they don’t care, all they care is the proposer making the payments (along with their ability to pay). They have no interest in the big lump of metal bit – the irony here is that whilst you’re so keen to emphasise the separation between finance product and lump of metal, this is the only point where there actually is a separation.
troutFree Memberf you had any sort of legal basis for your position, you should have just gone down the legal route in a professional manner.
Come on Mattyfez. If that had happened this thread would only be 1 page long
And as I have been bed bound with back trouble. It has kept me off dreadful daytime tvJust needs some more bonkers posts from Ling. As getting too serious I hope she stays about after this thread

Are you the controller of this thread?
Does everyone else jump to your controlling tactics?
Must feel good to be the person who dictates to everyone else what is allowed, here.
Other members may suck up to your bullying way of controlling posts, but not me, big-boy pooper.

I thought Alison Moyet was dead, but was getting her mixed up with that other singer who got hit in the head by a boat.Kirsty Maccoll. 😥
taxi25Free MemberIf I were you Ling I’d listen to poopscoop. It’s not worth your time getting involved in arguments on internet forums, it’s to easy to get emotionally involved and loose and all perspective.
I think you’ve been messed around by a couple of fantasists and are pissed of about it, I would be to. But it’s time to leave the bickering alone now and see them in court. Either that or walk away and concentrate on your “paying” customers and make some real money.PoopscoopFull MemberLing. Bless you.
Seems you don’t like open discussion. Not used to it I guess? Welcome to the real internet.
Many people stuck up for you on here actually. I’m just someone that didn’t like to see people intimidated. On a biking forum.
Don’t go all shrinking violet on us now…

She rides 2 illegal E-bikes
She voted for Brexit
She has dubious business practises
And shes also a racist, from her facebook page 7 hours ago:This – not the usual demographic that gets much of a show of support on here. I do admit, though, that while there’s still entertainment value, it’s pretty much got to a point where it’s put up or shut up. Neither party seems looking to budge from their position.Somehow this seems the most appropriate
andyrmFree MemberI’m sorry to see a company (Ling’s Cars) has been caught up in Geordie Mick’s unethical approach to business dealings (whatever happened to a man’s word being his bond?), but if we take one positive out of this sorry saga, it’s that he’s going back into employment and not business, hopefully reducing the risk of him **** over other suppliers and backing out of things with scantily regard for anyone else. I hope to god he never goes into business with such shit ethics as exhibited in this thread and other anecdotal bits in other threads too.

Hope to see many people soon. I’m reassured that most people here seem sane, despite the CYCLIST tag. 🙂
CougarFull MemberIn what way exactly are you suggesting Simon is lying on the finance company forms?
In what way is it relevant to anything?
Steve (Simon? Mick? Who knows) is cancelling the contract agreement, under the CCRs. End of. “Yes but he said that she said that he said that…” is, as I said earlier, whataboutery.
It’s a simple yes / no question. Is the supplier honoring the customer’s statutory rights by allowing them to cancel without penalty within 14 days? Anything else is misdirection.
aracerFree MemberDidn’t you get the memo?
Does everyone else jump to your controlling tactics?
grumpyscullerFree MemberOh wow – read what was a relatively boring thread last night. Get home from work, open up STW and BAZING!
Totally amazeling escalation.
ajantomFull MemberOh my, you go off for the day cycling (see, some of us on here actually cycle!) and there’s another 12 pages when you get back.
Bravo! 😆
Oh, and poopscoop has outed himself as something of a mentalist. I for one hope this thread never ends.
GlennQuagmireFree Member@poopscoop – please stop pasting that default reply, it’s rather tedious.

Looking to buy a new Kombi/Crew van for my business and the label slut in me would obviously drag me to my local VW lifestyle dealer (commercial vehicles) and direct me towards a new VW T6. I went the day before the new registrations came out, the salesman was helpful and using a piece of A4 paper from a printer kindly wrote down some costs..
When asked to view one I was walked around the block to see the sales managers parked off site and literally had the doors opened for me and allowed to pop my head in. On the way back he then proceeded to rip the P out of some customers who were there to pick up one of about 8 brand new highly specified California vans and happily admit they were all just ‘units’ to him and the fact they cost £50k was immaterial to him
As a salesman myself I have always lived by the mantra of people buy from people they like and this guy was really getting under my skin. So I took my fag packet quote then ran. Tried three other dealers and all but one failed to call me back. A few days later I asked him for a quote for a fairly highly specs’d factory order panel van, which took a week of chasing to get.
I went back one day as I was passing and jumped in the front of a T6 panel van and was appalled at the lack of legroom for the driver, so decided crew van is deffo the way to go.
Today I’ve been to a local Ford dealer who have some new Transit Custom’s in stock and whilst I’m not tempted by the new utterly chav-ish M Sport model which looks like it’s been ram raiding a Halfords/RIPSPEED shop, I did like the fairly well specified Limited edition.
I got some figures and I’m seriously left thinking of any reason to buy the VW.
yes they’re the darling of the adventure/outdoor world but they cost a bomb, the residuals are never anywhere near what they’d like to think. The trannie residuals aren’t great but better than Renault/Vauxhall/Nissan sisters and the build quality was very impressive indeed.
It’s a big purchase for me but will I silently weep every time i see a nice VW when I’m in my ford or shall I be smug that the fact my van does everything the eve dub does but for less? A bit of form ordering and cancelling things.
She also claims distance selling rules don’t apply and I can’t expect to cancel a £30K car, which is ironic cos last year I cancelled a £37k van and VW gave me my grand back immediately.

Me being an utter plebtard (and not noticing finer details) i’ve just won and paid for a Microsoft Surface 3 on eBay. THEN I realise it’s not the PRO 3 which is bigger and better blah blah blah and i’ve probably paid over the odds.
I’ve contacted the seller with a polite message asking to cancel the sale.
Can I do anything to force the cancellation of the sale?
Yes, I’m a big tit too…. I think this sums it up.
I think you’ve been messed around by a couple of fantasists and are pissed of about it, I would be to.
matt_outandaboutFull MemberThe thread that keeps giving, what great entertainment.
Two muppets slugging it out.
scotroutesFull MemberLing- before you go, do you have a view of diesel car sales and how quickly they’re dropping?
JamieFree MemberIf we’re getting to chose, I’ll take Ling and her quirks over poopscoop’s tedious copy and pastas.

aracerFree MemberCan I choose Simon? I like the sound of somebody who will buy his mate a car.
GlennQuagmireFree MemberYet you’re still reading bless you.
Did I say anything to the contrary?
taxi25Free MemberCan I choose Simon? I like the sound of somebody who will buy his mate a car.
Would you help a friend get heavily into debt buying a car the clearly can’t afford ?? I wouldn’t 🙁
sr0093193Free MemberPossibly just addressing the continued accusations of fraud. On top of the not knowing how statutory rights work. I think most topics have been visited a few times 😆
What’s seen as a ethically reprehensible by one may well be seen as an opportunity by another. People are ****.
PoopscoopFull MemberJust for the record here guys.
People that stuck up for Ling were standing up for a person that owns illegal e bikes, boasts about her disdain for cyclists on the road and has views on immigration I know many on here would find repugnant.Watch who you pledge your exigencies to in life I say.
Also hope the said people never, ever post negative comments about e bikes, reckless drivers or inflammatory views on immigration.
Would be rather hypocritical of them.
And not entertaining.
As Lings gone, nothing else to say now.
Thanks for the support of the people on here that at least listened to both sides even if they didn’t agree with me.
As for the rest, happy trails. Genuinely. 🙂
