Anyone got one? I stopped using any kind of mudguard years ago due to them flapping about/falling off on bumpy descents and also still getting covered in shite regardless 😀

Went for a ride in the pissing rain the other day and had a pretty much constant stream of water in my face from the front tyre. So, are these any good? Or are there better alternatives to use with leftys?

I imagine designs have improved in the last ten years or so…

Best thing is a SKS shockboard with a lefty adapter. German guy made this and I may have a go at something similar made from a Mucky nuts and the shockboard adapter as the SKS is a big old unit.

Surely water and muck still sprays off the tyre on front you?

Yeah but not in your face oddly, you still get covered though, but you know, mountain biking.

Some-one managed to get a star fangled nut into the bottom of my lefty, so I bolted on an old SKS shockboard, worked great.

But why is your disc rotor on backwards?

I used a shock blade mudguard on mine. Worked a treat.

It is. Google some pics of other people’s bikes.
