  • LED bike light bulbs – is there a decent MR11 retro fit??

I see Lumicycle have a 1w led bulb to retro fit into their lamps, but are there any other option? One of my 5 yr old DIY ones has blown and I want another, but can’t be bothered to fettle it myself…

Would these work? ultraleds.co.uk They’re MR11 and some are rated quite bright but not sure how they’d stand up to demands of a bike light (water/shock etc)

I think thy will be about as bright as a 5 w halogen – maybe a bit more for the more powerful ones but will have a very wide beam.

Ok to be seen by but not to see by at a guess
