Trying to use some spares for a commuter build. and have a M8000 (XT) chainset that I’ll probably use, what’s the largest chainring I can get on the cranks with a 96mm BCD?

Chainstay clearance?

I’ve had an Aliexpress 38T on no probs, but as mentioned above chainstay clearance is likely to be the limiting factor.
