    Hi there,

I’m currently looking for a laptop that I can install Linux on to (probably Ubuntu because it seems the most popular). Ideally something with an i5 processor or better and 4/8 GB of RAM. However, I’d also consider less powerful laptops. I’m completely new to Linux but have heard that there are sometimes hardware or driver problems associated with some machines running Linux. I’d really appreciate some suggestions as the world is full of laptops and I don’t know where to start 🙂

    Many thanks,

    R

Not the dell xps13 which claims to be designed for linux utterly sucks running it. Majpr issues with wifi and gfx.

Aside from Dell XPS 13 the other laptops that are designed to run specifically with Linux are Alpha Litebook, Purism Librem 13, System76 Oryx Pro, and System76 Galago Pro
