    Having a look at Pedal north at this route http://pedalnorth.com/rosthwaite-to-grasmere/. Asking would there be any better benefit starting in Grasmere and heading over to Wandlathe from there instead of starting in the Borrowdale valley.

    And on a secondary note can you drop off Mardale Ill bell to NanBeild as a Kentmere round might happen yet ?:)

    I’d start and finish in Borrowdale, as I have a real soft spot for the Rosthwaite descent, and it’d be lovely to finish with that, and then tea n cake at the flock inn.

    Thanks good sir, Id be very tempted to start in Keswick then at least the legs will be in by the time we get to Rosthwaite.

    Grasmere to rosthwaite is a mega death slog. done once and never since.
