Has anyone on here got some route advice on some lake district bikepacking routes that are suitable on CX bikes? Aiming to do 3 days riding with a couple of nights bivvying.
Have no idea on anything at the moment really. recommended paths to add into the mix? anywhere to avoid?/

Rich minces about on all sorts of weird niche beard stroking shite. He did Garburn on his C’dale Lefty Slate the other week. Why he couldn’t ride his proper bike is beyond me.

I’m hardly a makes expert. But I did start riding off road there on a touring bike. Then I moved to rigid MTB then suspension

Of the tracks I know most seemed better with big tyres and suspension. The touring bike was a real bone shaker

The bits that I can think of are suitble arethe new cycle route up Lansdale. The sustrans route from Elterwater to Coniston. The access roads in Grisedale and whinlatter

The single track roads are brilliant
