My son’s father-in-law is a custom homebuilder for high-end homes in Telluride, Colorado and he has done a number of concrete kitchen and bathroom countertops in stained concrete for homes he has built as well as for their own home. Really cool looking and can be stained in almost any color imagineable. He has been at it for a long time and said it is a learned-art. I think doing a small-scale trial might save some testy words with the other half.
