    Riding home from the forest earlier, I looked down and thought, my rear wheel looks a bit wonky. Check the QR, no, that’s not it. Quick look at the ……. Oh, I see the problem.

    ah well, solves my which-bike-to-take-on-holiday dilemma, cos I can’t see this getting resolved by Thursday! 😀

    2009 Super 4, (but as I only bought it just over a year ago, is still well in warranty). And I was just saying on a forum the other week how I’d not managed to break it, and they are a bit prone to this by all accounts.

    No, Granville on the Cherbourg penninsula. I suspect my Day One will cope. As for the zip ties, glue and paint they’ve all been pressed into service as “temporary repairs” in the past, but never on a swing arm
