Could someone tell how they compare to their stated sizes please – ie is the 2.1" an actual 2.1" or more or less?

Also can anyone recommend them for typical riding in Greece? – (loose, dry and dusty all summer).

    Thanks !

I have a feeling they come up standard/slightly large compared to normal (what is normal). And with regards to working for those conditions… they were designed for those conditions, you should be fine!

I thought we had a similar thread yesterday?

Depends on what you are comparing it to. IMO they are 'real' 2.1's – they are big compared to old-school Maxxis and Continental (e.g. High-Rollers and Mountain Kings).

2.35's come up pretty big and are a great trail centre/hardpack tyre.

I also have the 2.1's in a 29er flavour which i am yet to use in anger – put on for Mayhem last year and then taken straight off once i tried the 2.35's in the mud on a practise lap.

Fair enough… of course the width will vary slightly depending on rim-width…
