(works great for celery, onion & coriander anyways) Posted 4 months ago leffeboySubscriber I would love to know why wrapping in foil works. It’s magic with celery and I have no idea why Posted 4 months ago tailsMember I put a piece of kitchen towel in bagged salads, keeps them fresher once opened. Posted 4 months ago dantsw13Member I’m planning on growing my own next summer, but in the meantime is there a secret to keeping the leaves fresh? Posted 4 months ago mytiMember The salad we get in our veg box keeps for 2 weeks. It hasn’t been washed which is why it doesn’t go slimy like supermarket stuff. Maybe try buying from a grocer if it’s unwashed? Posted 4 months ago howsyourdad1Subscriber Me mam puts damp kitchen paper over the top. Works great especially on big bunches of Coriander etc Posted 4 months ago Viewing 7 posts - 1 through 7 (of 7 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
