Yeah, I like Keavney too. Low key, self depricating, often annoying, but not up his own fundament and full of his own importance (unlike pretty much anyone else on the air at that time of the morning). And none of that forced perkiness that really grates when it’s still dark.
Namone is good too, though, so I’m happy enough.
(Candidate for the most useless post of the day…?)
I like Keavney too. Like a Moyles that I didn’t feel I wanted to smack around the chops with a wet flannel. You’ll miss what you haven’t got soon enough!
This is a real groundhog day subject can we not just copy and paste the thread from last time he went on holiday?
I’m meh about him and we should all be thankful it’s not George Lamb.
MAH and Giles Peterson are a different matter
45% of MAH is like constantly having to breathe in a perfum that is sweet and sickly – most of the talking bits and the stupid poetry
50% of Liz Kershaw – that’s all the talking bits
65% of GP output is so annoying
68% of Stuart Maconie’s Freak zone
100% of Jarvis Cocker
…… the realisation that Giles Peterson doesn’t half play some rubbish
bunch of self indulgent arse today, if he doesnt buck his ideas up a lot, the office will rebel and vote for the phone in whingeathon that is J Vine soon
I thought Giles Peterson was really good yesterday. It’s so nice to hear someone who is passionate about their music and I was certainly being educated . Good man.
Similar to Ross Allen who used to be on GLR. His show was all over the place musically but it tied together fantastically.
I like the shambolic stylings of Keavney. Lala irks me though. She has good taste in tunes but then she feels the need to spend ten minutes telling what some random person on twitter thinks of everything. I don’t f**king care what Joe Bloggs in Mansfield thinks of the Staves, I already know they’re really boring.
