I’ve read most of Andy Mcnabs stuff, same with Chris Ryan and same with Anthony Horowitz. That’s the kinda stuff I like but open to suggestions, see what you got?

Try The Complete Sherlock Holmes/Complete Arthur Conan Doyle.
Guaranteed to keep you entertained for ages.
    You’ll be hooked for life.

    If you don’t like it I’ll buy a 650b bike. 😀

Have you tried the original James Bond books by flemming? You’ll see why Daniels is the best bond yet. Nasty piece of work.

    Wilbur Smith?

afaik, pretty much all of the work of H.P. Lovecraft is available foc from amazon.

likewise the Jules Verne work ‘The Mysterious Island’ is worth reading.

Get yourself a subscription to 2600 magazine and Philosophy Now – 99p and 1.99 p/m respectively (although the magazines are not monthly publications if that makes sense)

    Both good interesting reads.

If Si Fi is your thing a subscription to Asimov’s Science Fiction.

I also generally check out the ‘Daily Deal’ and there is often an interesting looking book that I would never have bought at full whack but is worth a punt at a squid…

Ed McBain books going cheap, can also borrow them through the lending library. Sean Kelly’s new book is in the lending library too. Unfortunately, I must wait until the end of the month

Anything that takes your fancy in dead-tree format, that is also available in handy, easily carried ones and zeros format. 😀

Totally agree with Rusty on the Sherlock Holmes stuff but if you’re looking for action you can’t go wrong with Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series – far better than anything you listed.
If you like that give Bernard Cornwell’s Sharpe series a go
