You can buy the glass for the screen fairly cheaply and fit yourself, a guy in work smashed his and fitted a new one himself, will ask him where he got it from.

I did a very similar thing to my N95 a couple of years ago. I thought it was proper borked, but my local friendly back street phone unlocking place replaced the screen and fascia for £40……once I pointed out how much the parts cost on eBay.
