He just never seems to get any older as the years roll on

Haven’t seen him release any new stuff for awhile, I hope he’s not ill.

I think it’s amazing how he’s made it to 78. Judging by the amount of seizures he’s had whilst preforming on stage he’s clearly never been a very well man.

He’d be more amazed than you I think 😂

I don’t know of any other living artist who has been so influential as to have a dog breed named in his honour.

Such a fantastic legacy to leave when eventually the time comes.

I also heard today that Joe is looking to do a tour with Roger Moore soon. I’m looking forward to that…

I seem to remember Sting wanted to play with Joe Cocker but was refused as they had dug him up twice that month already

What are you on about…Sting is alive and well (unfortunately)

    A Jarvis Cocker spaniel

My mate has a cocker spaniel called Jarvis and they’ve just got a sausage dog that they’ve named Richmond. Surely that’s the two best dog names ever?

If I had a Corgi I’d call it Matchbox. Or Boiler.

Boiler sounds more suitable for a bunny.

Such an underrated artist. I wonder if, like Bowie, once he’s gone there will be a run on his music and he’ll be held up where he belongs.

Not that underrated, his album Sheffield Steel was a highlight of his career, very highly regarded. And Bowie was never, ever underrated!

Yeh, he was (Bowie). When I was in my formative music years listening to The Smiths and John Peel in my bedroom and being a closet goth, he was releasing shit like Let’s Dance and wearing pastel suits and overcoats and subsequently making a tit of himself with Mick Jagger.

Only later did I realise what he really should be remembered for.

I guess you mean underrated by anyone that should have their opinion listened to 😉

On the plus side, this never gets old.

Such a talented family, I wonder if Joe and his son Jarvis will ever duet together. Nice birthday sing song round the Cocker household last night I imagine!

    Be a hard choice though,

Have a little faith in me, high time we went, a little soul or maybe even after you.
