Joe and I had a great time riding in Sherwood Forest. I am now in Clitheroe. Got an email from Peaty, who lives in the area. I’m hoping to break into his busy schedule to have him join me at my talk here on the 23rd. Even if he can’t make it, some of the Singletrackers should.

Charlie, it was great to see you and Joe at the London event and hear all about your pioneering Mountain Biking experiences.

I strongly recommend to anyone interested in Montain Bike history to go along to one of the two remaining events. These are not to be missed opportunities to hear first hand about the origins of Mountain Biking from Charlie, the principal chronicler of our sport during those founding years.
