- Jim Beam……..

It doesn’t taste of much, does it?
Tend to buy stuff on offer and try not to repeat myself so the Scottish supermarket options are running out.
Tried various Irish and slowly, the American.
Bulleit bourbon and the rye were both very pleasant.
As the Jim Beam was cheap I thought I’d give it a go.
Am I missing something?
There’s really not a lot to it is there?
Even £13.50 for 70cl seems a bit cheeky.
Just walked back for a bottle of Cola and a lime in an attempt to salvage something.
This could get messy.Posted 8 months agoesselgruntfuttockMember
I’ve got a bottle of it languishing in the dining room, for a mate who lent/loaned me a dehumidifier cos he likes it.
I prefer dehumidified water to that shit.
I also used to love a good ‘Rye & Dry’ but I tried Canadian Club on it’s own & it was like drinking brake fluid or something.Posted 8 months agosomafunkSubscriber
I got a bottle of “monkey shoulder” a few years ago but left it unopened for months till i finished all my other xmas malts – i found it surprisingly decent with a dash of water and it made a very nice whisky mojito but the following day was a complete write-off.Posted 8 months ago
