    Aaaah. Don’t buy strawberries out of season.
    Yes I know it’s for charity ( donate the money instead).
    I’m guessing that the strawberries used to make the red nose icing ( in the Sainsbury’s advert) are ‘el santa’ type. Rubbish, they bounce and the supermarkets buy them for durablity, so they travel well. Not for flavour.

    If you don’t know what I’m prattling on about, then I’m sure someone who’s less ranty than me can come along and explain.

    No chance I only ever buy British strawberries and even go as far as try to get English if I can.

    I actually like Jamie, but he does prattle on about being green, and then goes ahead with getting us to buy fruit that’s (probably) been flown over here.
