There’s a radio (and now TV) program called “I’ve never seen Star Wars” which gets people in the public eye to own up to things they have never done that seem very common to the rest of us.

Its title rang a bell with me because despite being a male engineer who read Sci Fi in his youth – I too have never seen Star Wars.

What everyday things have you never done. Something surprising please. Points will be deducted for superior “I’ve never got in a fight after drinking 10 pints of Stella” comments.

Couldn’t absolutely swear to this, but I don’t think I’ve ever driven without a seatbelt. Somewhat freaky, certainly dull and sensible. Not sure if that is surprising enough for you donald.

I can’t drive. Yet I’ve been all over Europe to watch motorsport.

Despite having a driving license for over 20 years and doing way more miles than the yearly average, I’ve never owned a car.

Have never watched Britains Got Talent.

Have never eaten a bogey.

I’ve never watched Big Brother, and I never would.

despite wearing one (badly) since the age of twelve at school, i only recently learnt how to tie, a tie. properly that is. tho im not great at it yet!

I reckon it’s pretty common never to have watched Britain’s got Talent, Big Brother and I’m a Celebrity (amongst intelligent people).

Despite living only 15 miles away, I’ve never been to Barnsley.

Perhaps that’s no so surprising though.

I’ve never stayed awake through King Kong, and I tried watching it 3 times. Twice in a cinema (remake, last one.. can’t remember who was in it, fell asleep)

I’ve never watched star wars either, although I did read the book (one incredibly bored christmas day) but even if I hadn’t I would still know the entire story as like football it’s almost impossible to avoid hearing boring geeks talking about it.
