    Hi team,

I’ve had a Synology NAS for a few years and every time I get to grips with it the hing updates and I have fresh pain trying to get it to work. Literally all I want to do is back up pictures and documents so that if the computer dies I have a copy elsewhere. I had truly had enough of fighting with the Synology as I am clearly not IT literate enough to make it work. Its currently giving me the blue flashing light of death and no end of Daddy Pig turning off and on again seems to work.

Is there either a) a good safe online way to do this in a cloud (ie. have all photos I upload to my computer automatically back up somewhere safe) or b) an easy to use NAS – literally for idiots?

I have under 1TB of pics / videos / documents I’d like to back up…

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Loads of options for cloud back-up.

OneDrive makes things very simple for PC users. If you’re a 365 user it’s probably cheaper than if you’re not.

iClould does the same for Mac users.

Cheaper options exist like Dropbox but require more input from the user.

I’m still using Office 10. Is office 365 much different?

EDIT – Thanks PJay. So I have amazon prime which I think allows me free photo storage….

.. runs off to play with that!
