    Um … I think you mean hybrid … 😉

Nice to see one of those frames again.

    Nice hybrid. 👌
    Definitely better for a lot of gravel / tour / off-road mince-core-track-riding.

@dickyboy do you mean the bike stand ?

Perhaps Ti Hybrid is a new niche ?🤔

    That looks great fun.

It’s clearly not a ‘hybrid’ as whatever ‘hybrid’ may have meant in the past for the last 10 years it has meant ‘shit’.

I might start cobbling together a mongrel of my own.

Can I ask where you got the bike stand please…

    Definitely calling hybrid on this

But if it suits your purpose, doesn’t matter what it’s labelled

Mountain bike in dancing shoes is what I see.

@Bullet I got the stand when my LBS shut down , I would think they are fairly generic ?

@bullet that is a very standard stand, found on eBay and Amazon. I have 2 from years ago, one left outside for bike cleaning, but getting rusty and surprisingly unstable on the lawn

Ian at Ewood Cycles was just talking about those stands on Wednesday when I was there, so he can definitely source them for anyone interested.

Ian would definitely call that a hybrid though.

like the idea though – did similar a couple of years ago:-

Undergeared and over-tyred, but rides nice.

Here’s my frankenbike out in the wild today. It started out as an experiment but has turned into the bike which fits my body and current riding habits better than any bike before. It is based on 2016 Cube hardtail, they have a very short reach and has been worth playing with. Sub 11kg.

I mostly ride about 30% country roads and the rest off road in the Dales. I use it after work in summer in the Lakes and it is not out of its depth, I started out as a kid in Keswick on an ‘87 Stumpjumper so this is way for confident than my origins.

Keep playing with the buy button for a Cotic Cascade but I am not sure what I will gain. Ideally I would like to find an e-bike equivalent.
