If you go to Halfords stores that do paint mixing, you can ask them to mix to the pantone shade. Apparently this is currently:
    Current Islabikes colours:
    Orangey Red – 1788C
    Lime Green – 368C
    Dark Pink – 226C
    Teal – 3145C
    Previously available Islabikes colours:
    “Pillar Box” Red – 185C
    Blue – Process Blue C
    Mango – 151C
    Purple – 254

Halfords saying they can’t mix it.

    Anyone got any other suggestions?

It’s a kid’s bike, just relax and forget about the paint. She (unfortunate gender assumption based on colour) will put more scratches on it and each scratch you’ll be rolling your eyes and getting out the touch up paint again. Just let her enjoy it.

    Is this a troll?

@sgn23 Aye, I think that’s probably what I’m going to have to do. It’s at least third hand and her sister’s had it too, so it’s a bit rough round the edges. If I CBA I‘d see about powder coating, but I can’t.

I feel like I’m missing something here…… But just to double check, have Islsbike told you they don’t have that colour any more?

@thegeneralist Islabike don’t supply touch up paint themselves and never have.

Also not clear what about this is troll-y

Now that is fully odd. I have a little brush bottle of islabikeblue that they sent to me last year just before I sold the bike on

Maybe you need to ask them more nicely😁

TBH it looked pretty rubbish afterwards. Maybe that’s why they gave it to me.
