Hi, anyone happen to know what the widest tyre that can go on an islabike beinn 20 is? My son’s bike has currently got a 1.4″ tyre on, I’m wondering about putting a 1.95 on.

My son’s has Schwalbe Little Joe’s that I think are 20×2.0 (but they’re not really that wide). My elder daughter’s Beinn 24 has Schwalbe Black Jack 24×2.1 (also not quite true to size) which are right on the limit of fitting (sacrificial heli tape on the chainstays!)

Whenever I’ve emailed Isla before about tyre sizes they’ve replied “the size we put on there” which wasn’t very helpful.

1.9 black jacks on my sons, loads of room.
