Thanks for the input everyone. If I can find a secondhand Beinn 20L at the right price close enough to me I’ll go for that but they seem to be like rocking horse poo. Failing that I think I’ll take him to the local Frog stockist and see how he feels about it.
Islabike tyres look too small to me.
They are usally Kenda Small Block 8’s but I changed his on the CNOC16 to Conti Explorers for extra knobbly grip.
