    I thought stuff didn’t get deleted, it just got “archived”…?

    Aren’t they in the bin? You might need to click on the labels list, the bin isn’t always visible.

    Use the web interface rather than a standalone client.

    If you’ve just deleted them from your inbox, or other similar folder, they go into the “bin” folder. You can retrieve them from there.
    If you’ve deleted them from there, not sure – best off checking their help & support pages.

    Use the web interface rather than a standalone client.

    If you’re on Android you can still get to the bin, open the menu and click on “Go to labels”. No idea about other clients!

    cheers guys, just found a folder called trash, which is where they go when deleted, only been using gmail for a year 🙁 DOH
