Thanks Sugden, yep checked you tube, while it looked fairly straight forward you basically have to dismantle the whole phone which fills me with slight dread. . . . is it really that easy a job ?

It looks dramatic but apple phones are made like lego, they just modules that slot together, although if you are filled with dread maybe you have never done stuff like this before.
