  • iPhone not connecting to WiFi, again…

Mrs crikeys iPhone has decided that although it can recognise the home wifi, it wants nothing to do with any kind of connection, again.

Other iPhone connects ok, as do android phones and computer, laptop and tablet.

    Anyone got any ideas?

I suspect from browsing about the issue that it will be going back to the shop…

Have you told it to forget the network and then let it find it again?

How about manually inputting the ssid?

Had this with my phone and Mac a lot both would connect great then just stop. Since I switched ISP and got a new router it’s never been an issue.

Do you set up DHCP to assign it a reserved IP?
That’s what I do with all my own devices – seems to cause a lot less bother that way.

Had this with my iPhone 5, only solution was to take it back for replacement – it’s a known issue.

Did that too Graham it would keep it going for awhile but in the end it would decide it couldn’t connect or if it could not actually passed the router.
