It’s ok for me. I only just installed it a few weeks ago on my iPhone 4. Do a reset or load a back up?

no problems here worth just doing a factory restore.

Certainly looks like what’s known as a kernel panic. Not had any significant issues with software upgrades on my two iPhones, a 3 and a 4, or my iPad. Is it properly backed-up? If so, I would suggest doing a restore to factory settings, then do a restore from back-up.
I did that once, after I did something daft, a 3-finger tap, which zoomed the screen right out, without realising what I’d done. What I should have done was google it. Instead I went the restore route. It worked fine, except it didn’t cure what I thought was a problem and wasn’t. It may well help with your problem, but you could google it because the Apple Forums may well have it well documented.

Sounds like a fresh restore and set up as new not restore from backup will fix this(if it’s hardware related Apple will replace)

Another 3 crashes in last hour, plugged into macbook and itunes launches saying iphone is in recovery mode. Let it do a restore and update and see what happens.

Got an appointment at store booked in for Tuesday, that will be fun as im due looking after my 18mth old daughter.

Well its now completely knackered and im on call…. oops

It wont restart and the apple logo keeps coming on in a loop. I’ve plugged it into laptop which shows recover mode however when doing a restore it just hangs on the Restoring software bit. It goes through restore authorisation fine.

So im left nothing. Any options other than smashing it with a hammer which is what i feel like doing.
